The confirmed date for the 24 hour race will be the weekend of 16-17 June with the Classic event 3 weeks later on July 6-8. With two such major events, Project 100 is opening booking early for both. P100 celebrates its 21st Le Mans 24 hours

The Project 100 team enjoyed a busy Le Mans 2011 - the 21st for the company at the legendary race. Alongside our VIP activities and driver management programme, the "Jett Girl Model Search" linked to the ACO's new "Passion 24’" brand entertained the crowds and teams alike on a packed grid on the Saturday.

"Virgin Oceanic 5 Dives" project launched

Chris Welsh and Richard Branson officially launched the 5 Dives project with the support of Virgin Oceanic in Newport Beach, California.  This partnership brokered by Project 100 will send a one man, state-of-the-art, submarine to the bottom of the deepest trenches in each of the world’s oceans. With support by Virgin, development is almost complete and test dives are set to begin shortly. Project 100 continues to broker additional sponsorship deals.

FIA GT1 World Championship for 2010 gains pace

Spa brought another major announcement by the FIA for its newest World Championship. The 12 race 'GT1 World' for 2010 has already confirmed Nissan's GT-R and the Ford GT. Announced on Friday 24 June were the new 670 bhp Lamborghini Murcielago from Reiter Engineering and the likely acceptance of 'grandfathered' Corvette and Aston Martin entries.

Centenary of Louis Blériot’s Channel Crossing

The 25th of July marks the 100th anniversary of Blériot’s channel crossing, securing his place in history – and in the record books for the first crossing via a heavier-than-air aircraft – the 25 hp ‘Blériot XI’. Taking off from Calais and landing 37 minutes later near Dover Castle, Blériot was doubtless motivated by the £1,000 prize offered by the Daily Mail for the first to complete this challenge. A ‘Cutting Edge’ first for Le Mans in 2009

For the first time in it’s history, Le Mans saw the addition of an open air hairdressing salon to it’s paddock, courtesy of RUSK. Whether a driver or sponsor dropping in for a quick trim or a model going for ‘the works’ from our top stylists we were ready. Plus the wonderful RUSK girls were on hand to add a snip of glamour. Project 100 and VIP guests enjoy stunning weather, stunning RUSK girls and stunning racing at the 77th running of the world famous ’24 Heures du Mans’ in conjunction with top privateers ‘Creation Autosportif’ and their 210 mph+ LMP-1 prototype. After a challenging race, our RUSK and BaByliss for Men sponsored Creation LMP1 team arrived at the finish at 3 pm on Sunday a solid 13th in class.

Gulf Kremer Porsche K8 moves to America

P.100 Chairman John Harwood-Bee has finally succumbed and has sold his beloved Le Mans Gulf Porsche K8. P100 started Le Mans in 1994 front row with the car - and finished 6th overall. 5 years later John repurchased the car and had it restored to original livery. In November the beautiful K8 arrived in the USA at Porsche's fabulous 'Rennsport 3' at Daytona, to start a new life in historic racing.

 

Barazi-Epsilon win at Silverstone 1000 kms

The Le Mans crash and Spa retirement from 2nd place were all forgotten as Vergers, Barazi and Ojjeh stormed to an LMP2 win at the only UK round of the Le Mans Series. Champagne flowed freely as the team take their first victory of 2007.

 

 

LM 07: Mixed track results, but a great event

Two Barazi-Epsilon Zyteks joined the LMP2 field. The 33 car took 2nd in class; the 32 car crashed… that’s racing. But even less than perfect weather did not detract from a fabulous event for the many VIP guests who enjoyed a spectacular Le Mans weekend with Project 100.
